Roberto
After many years of experience in the field of Communication and Public Relations, Roberto Begnini, who was born in Verona but adopted by Rome, created StudioBegnini, a Press Office specialized in cultural events both for the national and international context. A remarkable network of contacts created with passion and commitment allow Roberto to deal with major events including restorations, exhibitions, art publishing, opening of new exhibition venues, conventions etc. Passionate about interior design he has collaborated as a journalist with important Italian magazines including Glamour, L’Uomo Vogue, AD, Casaviva, Dentro Casa, Case e Stili as well as with international publications like Vogue India, Elle Decor España, AD Russia, AD Mexico, Elle Francia, Doble Altura, etc. At the same time he has signed a series of interior design projects that have been featured in important magazines and architecture books. At the end of 2012 he has published in Italy, together with photographer Gianni Franchellucci, the volume “5 Star Houses. 20 luxury interiors in Italy” (Palombi Editori). As an experienced traveller, he writes for the italian magazine Marco Polo Diari di Viaggio, and in 2011 he has published “Best 100 Roma”, a guide about the city of Rome. Roberto’s passion about Montevideo descends from his love for a specifical kind of architecture, that’s typical from the beginning of the last century and that can be found everywhere in this city. Some years ago he has bought and renovated a house in the island of Ortigia (Syracuse – Sicily), far before its conversion into an up-to-date place. The house has now become Casa Roberto Syracuse, an other maison d’hôtes for strictly selected guests.
